Allen has spent his career leading analytical practices for eBusiness, marketing, process reingineering, call center, and international organizations. He currently serves as Executive Director of eBusiness for USAA, a leading financial services company, and Business Week's number one "Customer Service Champ".
As pricipal consultant for Visual Sciences, Allen implemented web analytics best practices for clients ranging from Fortune 50 to start-ups. As Senior Manager at Dell, Allen brought measurement rigor and process improvement to increase the performance of marketing, sales, and international call centers.
Specializing in developing key performance indicators, aligning business processes within the organization, and designing controlled experimentation models. Experienced about counterfraud, he has developed fraud detection and visualization systems for financial services and airline systems.
Allen holds a Masters in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelors in Information Systems from the University of Texas. He enjoys electronics projects, kayaking, running, acoustic guitar, movies, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
